Restaurant Branding: Mei Mei’s

I have chosen to complete a branding project for my final design assessment piece at university. I specifically wanted to showcase my Chinese culture throughout my work and thus, I have created my own hypothetical Chinese restaurant. Dumplings and baos have always been one of my go to comfort foods and has always reminded me of my Chinese background and culture. One of my nicknames that my family would call me growing up, and still do, is 'mei mei', which means little sister in Chinese. Therefore, I decided that I wanted to use 'mei mei' as the name of a Chinese restaurant to bring back a sense of nostalgia and a feeling of comfort.
